How we check it

Research you can trust, without the noise.

Most new research reaches you as a scary headline or a supplement ad. The Brief reads the studies themselves and tells you what they found, and how sure anyone can be.

Checked against the original studyFigures are checked against the paper or announcement they came from, and every story links to its source so you can read it yourself.
Real numbersAbsolute risk, not only relative risk. “Doubles your risk” means little until you know what it doubled from.
The caveats, said out loudWhat a study couldn’t show, who funded it, and whether it’s an early conference result rather than published work.
Your decisions stay yoursNothing in the Brief tells you to start, stop or change a medicine. Those decisions belong to you and your clinician.

Questions

Before you sign up.

When does it arrive?
Monday mornings, Eastern time. One email a week.
Is it free?
Yes. No card, no subscription.
Will I get other emails?
Signing up also puts you on the ALJA waitlist: a welcome email with the free Perimenopause Starter Guide, a few early-access updates, and first access to the Founding Member offer when it opens. You can leave either one any time.
I’m already on the ALJA waitlist. Do I need to sign up again?
Only if you’re not signed up for it already (if you joined on or after 22 October, you most likely are). If you’re not sure, use the form above: if you are, nothing changes; if you aren’t, we’ll email you a link to confirm, and The Peri Brief is added when you press the button on its page. Your place on the waitlist stays as it is.
Can I stop it?
Any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click is all it takes.

The Brief explains the research. ALJA remembers your own.

The Peri Brief tells you what the studies say. ALJA is where you keep your own record — your symptoms over time, your patterns, and Bestie, with your history in view. The waitlist is open now.
